DIY "Thank You" Parasol

Thanks to TheFutureMrsLamkin below you will find information on how to create your own "Thank You" parasol.  These are GREAT for some photo opportunities to add to your Thank You Cards.
  • She found her parasol online from ebay for only $12. 
  • Then found a font that she liked (chopin) and downloaded it to her computer.
  • Next print it at 600
  • She taped all of the letters together and cut around them to make a stencil
  • Place the stencil on the front of the parasol with a bit of tape so it will stay in place, and then trace it with a fine tip sharpie
  • Last, color it all the way in with a normal sharpie
I thought that this was a VERY easy DIY project that can help some brides out!  Be sure though that you do not press down to hard with the sharpie as I am sure that it could bleed through pretty badly.

~Samaria & Zachary- Indroduction~

I am SUPER excited about this wedding that is fast approaching.  Samaria & Zachary will join together September 10, 2011, yep, that is 9-10-11, I thought that was totally cool.  Maybe it was just me, who knows ;) 

The Ceremony and Reception will be held at Ray's House in Historic Downtown Hampton.
Samaria is going for a Garden Party Themed Wedding that is going to look FANTASTIC with the Southern/Historic home as the backdrop.  We are working with Yellow, Green, and Chocolate as our color palette. 

I can not wait to update the Southern Glamour blog with our progress of planning this AMAZING Wedding.

I honestly LOVE planning, most of all, I love Weddings! I enjoy creating Southern, Chic, Stylish and Elegant Events. Either breaking it down to one of those styles or strategically combining them all to make your wedding day dream the reality that you deserve. With all clients you get more than just a direction, we will provide you with amazing ideas, hands on assistance, customized inspiration boards, and most importantly the communication you need to take the stress off of you. With most of our packages we will review your vendor contracts, communicate with all vendors, and even recommend specific vendors if needed, all to be sure that your wedding day runs smoothly. I am positive that we have a package that would fit your style and budget perfectly, if we don’t already have one, well, we will make one customized to you and your needs. We take pride in knowing that we can work with a 5,000 budget up to a 55,000 budget. There is no limitations. We will work closely with our Bride's to be sure she gets the wedding that she has always wanted but help her stay within her budget as well. A wedding does not have to be super expensive to be beautiful. I really look forward to speaking with you and hope that I can be a part of helping you not worry about the details and enjoying your day!

Free Month-of-Coordinator

Afternoon!
I am writing this post to inform any Summer/Fall Brides that I am offering a FREE service.
Yes, I said FREE....I am just starting out my Business and I would like to help out any brides that may not think they can actually afford a Wedding Coordinator.  All I ask in return is that I can use your wedding in my portfolio and if you would like a Letter of Recommendation for my files as well. I am located in Jackson, GA but will work around the Atlanta and OTP Area.  I can also do a destination wedding, the services of planning and coordinating will be free with travel expenses being paid by the "client"

The following is what I can offer to the Brides:
  • (1) In person on-track meeting - This is to give me a list of vendors and information on your wedding
  • (1) Telephone conference on-track meeting
  • I will attend the ceremony and reception venue when it is convenient to you for Final touches and breakdown of your decorations/design
  • Review vendor contracts - This is to be sure that I know when and where your vendors will arrive
  • Coordinate with your vendors to create your wedding team
  • I will be present at your rehearsal and assist where needed
  • I will create a wedding day itinerary and timeline to distribute to vendors and wedding party if desired
  • Unlimited email/phone communication (phone calls will have to be after 5:00pm)
  • Complete Wedding Day Management
This is a GREAT deal!
I am HONESTLY not looking to get anything but some portfolio pictures and maybe a Letter of Recommendation.
